Ingredients:
- Salt & Black Pepper
- 800g Savoy Cabbage (Thickly Sliced)
- 50g Butter
- 400g Sausages, Skinned and flattened
Method
Preheat the oven to 150c, Gas Mark 2
Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil, Add the cabbage and boil for 4 minutes. Drain. Cool under a cold tap and drain again thoroughly.
Grease a lidded casserole dish with half the butter. Cover the base with a third of the cooked cabbage, Arrange half the flattened sausages over the top. Then cover with another third of the cabbage, Add the rest of the sausages then cover with the rest of the cabbage, Rememebr to season each layer with the salt and pepper.
Dot with the remaining butter and cook in the oven for 2 hours, When cooked, The cabbage should be very tender.
